- The Broke Person Paradox: I don't like seeing the money go but I am happy when the bills are paid.
- Exaggerating (in the name of good fun and laughter).
- Starting the day with a good friend.
- Call with my mentor.
- Call with a new friend to discuss happiness.
- Being flexible.
- There is only love.
- Loving myself. Today I do!
- TV - Junk food for my mind.
- Homemade pizza for dinner with tortillas instead of making dough.
- You Tube! We found someone playing the D major scale on the violin when H was stumped! So cool.
- H's teacher took the time to find her a 3/4 violin and it's made a lot of difference in her practice.
- Delay start on the washer, dryer and dish washer. Sometimes I can do things on my own time - and still have them run when the electricity is cheaper.
- The apology letter H wrote me for stomping up the stairs.
- Using the letter to discipline her for throwing a tantrum instead of throwing my own tantrum in response.
- Creating the space for her to think through her actions instead of telling her what's right/wrong.
- This chick rocks: Happiness wants to come easy. YES!
- Commenting on other blogs and getting new comments on mine. What a cool thing.
- Being unafraid.
- Tackling a nagging task (or 2) today.
Be thankful for what you have and you will end up having more. But if you concentrate on what you don't have, you'll never, ever, have enough. --Oprah Winfrey
