- It's 8 p.m. and the family has come and gone.
- The kitchen is clean.
- The baby is asleep.
- We had a really GOOD Thanksgiving. Better than we have had in years.
- A holiday with my family.
- My HP. Cause I am sure there is no way the kitchen would be clean, the leftovers would be put away and I could be this happy all of my own accord.
- Saying a little prayer.
- Recovery.
- Being the living example without having to say a word.
- My grandmother's pearls.
- Thanking my husband for working hard and taking such good care of us.
- Thanking my daughters for being the joy of my life.
- The sound of rain on the window.
- Listening to N and H playing Deal or No Deal in the front room.
- N sleeping over just cause. Not cause I have to save him from anything.
- My program and all the people I have met this year.
- Learning.
- Open questioning.
- Acceptance.
- Singing Happy Birthday to A.
- Watching C's reaction to everyone singing Happy Birthday to A.
- Having all the food ready before everyone got here so we could eat right away (and try to avoid needless chaos that stems from low blood sugar).
- Yummy yummy pies.
- The birthday cake mom made for A.
- Not participating in negativity.
- Perpetuating positivity.
- A kiss from Sean at the end of the day.
- A bubble bath with C.
- Today was a good day.
- Making plates of leftovers for everyone to take home.
Be thankful for what you have and you will end up having more. But if you concentrate on what you don't have, you'll never, ever, have enough. --Oprah Winfrey
